What a collection! fantastic. Would love to see that lot up close. I didn't notice a Harrier which was another one of ours the USA used. Love the Tiger moth pity they didn't have the Gypsy too. Really enjoyed those pics.

I only just came across this post. What a fantastic collection of aeroplanes, and what superb pix! (As someone who tries to take pix in aircraft museums I takes me 'at orf to the bloke what dunn them)!

Great to see the range of samples preserved but sometimes it's the little things that really get the emotions going, this thread and the recent Japanese events reminded me of the day when walking about in Tinker AFB in Oklahoma in the late 1980's I came across a propeller mounted on a plinth, the little plaque indicated that it had been removed from B-29-40-MO Superfortress "Enola Gay"

Being just old enough to remember the VE & VJ celebrations in B'ham the emotional hit was totally unexpected.
