Hi all,

Need to source some adjustable cabinet legs for levelling some kitchen units I am building, but I need access to them from the inside of the unit at the rear (same as rear legs used on Neptune kitchens if you're familiar with them). Adjustable using an allen key from the inside.

Any sources for these anyone can recommend? I've goggled, and I'm using the wrong terminology clearly as I keep turning up the same old plastic legs with the tear-off plastic plinth connectors used on MFI* kitchens for years.

Cheers.

If these don't carry what you want I'm sure they will be able to help you find them. Have a look at the second link first.

Right on. Appreciated. I think the eBay ones might do exactly what I am trying to do - will check with the seller.

Yes, not those I'm afraid.

No prob. Will report back once I hear from the eBay man.

Actually if you look at the single picture, but not at the leg and the heads of the other legs in the corner of the picture you can see allen key holes in the tops of the bolts.

There's an outside chance that's how the legs are held onto the bottom of the cabinet...albeit highly unlikely. I can just about see screw holes in the top of the plastic where it would screw onto the underside.

Exciting stuff.

How many legs and boss's do you need Wuffles?

I have quite a few spares that I have collected over the years, if you don't need dozens and dozens, I may be able to help you out!

The ones I use are from German kitchen units.

Tim

PS. I have just looked at the links on some of the legs the other guys have posted.
I think the legs with the large bolt head that have an Allen key head are purely a way of fixing the leg to the cabinet.

The legs I use require a 10mm hole drilled directly above the centre of the leg/boss which then gives you access to adjust the leg from inside the cabinet by means of a PZ 3 screwdriver. When the leg is finally adjusted, the 10mm hole gets covered by a White 10mm plastic cap (as nearly all German kitchens have White interiors)

Depending on how good the screeders are for our extension, loads ) - Appreciate the offer but it's going to be at least 24 of them I'd estimate. Not including the island, or anything else the Wife magics up between now and the time I actually start building.

24 legs would not be a problem, as I must have over 100 spares, but I'm not too sure how many of the boss's I have.

If you get stuck finding what you are after, give me a shout and I'll see what I can find.

Big ask, but I don't suppose you have a photo of the kind of thing? They don't have to be pretty as they're only for the rear.

Make sure that you get the right height, the ones that I use would do exactly what you want and they come in different sizes starting at 80mm up to 180mm I think. Give me a shout if you are stuck.
