A question for Kity 613 bandsaw owners

This is new to me and I've never owned my own bandsaw before so never had to set it up. I picked this up last week, today I managed to get the motor working (switch full of saw dust).

While I had it in bits, I've noticed the table tilt (trunnions?) mechanism is quite stiff. Is this normal?

Second Q, what's the widest blade you've managed to successfully tension? I realise this also depends on the blade thickness and material, just trying to get an idea. Ian tuff saws wasn't answering earlier.

I have n't noticed the table tile being overly stiff on mine.

The widest blade I think I've used was 3/4 ins.

Going to try the tilt again when I put the table back on as I think the weight of that might help.
