A Pair of Choppers

I purchased these two recently. I think the lower one is a Kent pattern axe head but can anyone tell me what the upper one is and what it is for?

Agree about the axe head - Kent pattern. That one has seen a bit of use - it's had quite a lot sharpened off!

The other one is a stick chopper, or kindling chopper. I think Bugbear knows more about them that I, and no doubt he'll be along in due course.
