Boxwood- I have been very lucky with this current batch of boxwood-i bought two limbs 5' long by 3 to 4" diameter about 5 years ago. they didnt split in the round like they normally do and i have roughed several out and have seasoned them in the house for about 18months and they've dried really well. this is the first box i've made from the batch.

All very nice George and to your usual standard.

I dont turn many boxes myself but every time I see yours I keep telling myself I must do some but I will need a lot of practise to get to your level.

Beautiful shapes and the quality is as good as always. Personal taste I am not keen o the non wood variations but they aren't for me so it doesn't matter

Hi George,

Beautiful boxes to your usual impeccable standard.
My favourite is the Lignum vitae, beautiful grain.

Regards,

Mikec

Excellent selection of boxes, George. I particularly like the Lignam one (although on my monitor the colour makes it look more like cocobola!)

The ones in alternative materials work very well (reminding me I have a couple of pieces of this myself that I really ought to get around to making something out of....)

Thank you for all of your kind comments, they really do mean allot to me

Pete- EEE is a tripoli cutting compound and is part of the ubeaut finishing process
