A little gloat!

UPS have just called with a little box. Inside the little box were a couple of smaller boxes and inside one of these was . . .

Another box revealed . . .

And when you put the two together you get . . .

a space invader!

The two planes also came with the mini marking gauges - which beside the planes don't look quite so mini

The customs charge was £18.12 which could have been worse.

Now I am just as culpable as the next man when it comes to shiny tool purchases, but, is it my eyes or are they identical? Surely you don't need two identical tiny shoulder planes?

Or are they handed?

There are two and yes they are identical - one of them is for my son for Christmas.

Shipped Friday and 1st attempted delivery yesterday but no one was home :roll:

Okay, I'll ask the stupid question, what are they used for? ie normal sized shoulder planes seem to do the job well enough
