Hi all,

I've used the search function and found that Mike's Workshop over the pond seems to be the place to go for blades, however - with no credit card I can't buy them from his site. Does anybody know if he has an Ebay name? I've looked but couldn't find him. Or, does anybody buy blades from Ebay...... Any suggestions of an alternative seller?

Also, blade length......... is this measured pin-to-pin? My saw takes pinned blades, I took the one out that came with it and measured it. It's 5" pin-to-pin or about 5 1/2" overall.

Any other general blade hints and tips also welcome.

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,

I am sorry but I sell only pin-less blades. It does not matter what kind of blade you use they are all 130 mm long from end to end. At least that is what I understand.

I don't sell on EBay but one of my dealers does. I don't know what his name is on Ebay but I sure if you look for blades, you might find it.

Mike

Hi Paul,
What saw have you got??
Pinned blades are severely restricting due to the size of the hole you need when doing inside cuts.

I have checked out the FD blades on ebay and they are considerably more expensive than buying direct from Mike. Some of the charges for P&P are also way over the top.

Thanks for the info Mike. I'll have a look through some of the Ebay sellers to see what I can find.

Hi Mouse. It's a Draper one...... not sure of the model number but it's the 400mm model with variable speed....
