On a certain well-known auction site, from 99p.

Good, bad or indifferent I know not... I have no knowledge/interest in the subject, but the seller is also flogging a Hegner scroll saw for the same ridiculous opening bid, which is how I came to notice it.
But be "warned" - I'm not sure what's going on, but the saw has been advertised at more than three different price points over the last two-ish weeks, everything from £300 down to (again) 99p.
A hacked eBay account, perhaps?

It's not unusual to start auctions at 99p.

It's also not unusual to put items on different places for different prices.

It's also not unusual to see a scam advert.
