6 boxes finished

A shellac and beeswax has been applied to all 6 boxes completed in the workshop this year. (two additional boxes made but left home without a finish)


The cylinder box.

The smaller random ribbed box with oak corner mouldings.

The larger random ribbed box with yew corner mouldings

A ribbed box with drop on lid.

Another ribbed box with ribs internally and drop in lid.

Finally the chevron box.

It is my ambition to make another chevron box in my nineties, but with a 9" square motive for carcass. (leaving until I have more experience)
If anyone is able to send me a cad sketch for the design using the 4 colour timbers, I will print and keep in existing box and hopefully make in 20/25 years time)

what great work well done you should be proud of each and every one i think the cylinder box is my favourite but then i look again and change my mind

Thanks all for looking, off boxes at the present time, bedroom duties, (making a new headboard) using a veneered door and fixing to the wall with french cleats, given me backache tho.

I did go looking for my thread postings of boxes 2009 & 2010 (album style) used search but could not find them. Any help would be appreciated so I can post them to my favourites
