So Axminster have 15% off till Friday which makes a pretty saving on the 406 bringing it in line with the Regent at around £2k. There's another £100 off too if top cashback is valid
Anyone got a Regent that they could recommend? The 406 always seems to be rated but there doesn't seem to be much out there for the Regent, although they rarely come up for sale 2nd hand which should be a good indicator. My current lathe and Bandsaw are RP and I've never had any issues
The Regent has a 18" swing Vs the 16" of the 406. 5yr warranty Vs 3 too so I'm swaying towards the RP as I can't see myself ever outgrowing it. Just a shame there's no monetary discounts on the Regent currently
