I spoke to Peter Moss at Transwave today
I can honestly say i have never ever in my life spoken to such a helpful person, he called me after i sent an email regarding my requirements, he duly called me back within minutes of reading it i guess as it was 8 30am this morning, which was perfect.
He explained everything to me regarding all inverters, converters, rotary static so forth and so on.
Anyway after speaking with him for 5 or so minutes (at his expence-he called my mobile) he then reccommended a static converter that will run my saw at 495 + vat which in my opinion is rather quite good as it means i have a huge saw with a scribe that takes jumbo sheets.
He also then explained i needed a 40amp supply to the garage which is a 40amp breaker running on a cooker cable(he gave me the size, but i remember cooker cable easier)
So i was convinced that after 10 minutes of chatting that this was the route i was taking and was going to stump up the cash to go and get one in readiness for when my saw is delivered.
So i said goodbye etc etc
Anyway 10 minutes later i get another call from peter at transwave saying that he just had a phone call from a guy who was looking to sell the exact same transwave model that i require for my needs, and Peter gave me his number so now i will have in my possession in 2 days time a converter to get my saw running for 300 notes (half price) as i will be dealing with the seller direct.
Now if you ask me, Peter spoke with me for 20 minutes today at his expence and got nothing out of it financially which in my opinion is very very rare.
So hats off to Peter from Transwave.
I know i will be shopping there again when the need arises.
I just thought i would share my experience with you and i thank all of you who replied to my thread as without you i would be sitting at home 600 quid lighter and with a chunk of useless metal.
Many Thanks
Mark
