Haha this is a great spec, I've got something in mind... No idea if it 'right' but it should be fun to make!

Yes , lathe turned but the ball must not rest / sit on etc the base , The ball needs to be suspended / elevated / held aloft / etc etc as posted previously :wink:Also is the piece allowed to have a base?
