1m rule

I'm in the market for a great metre rule. I dropped my ally one last night and it landed end on and has dented on the 0mm corner :x

I have a steel one (Axminster but could be Stanly I think) which is quite narrow and I find awkward to read in anything other than the brightest light (and I have spot on eyesight).

So any suggestions.

Mine is a japanese one - oh dear the name has just escaped me, begins with a Y I think or maybe a T - oh dear, let me mull it over again and then re-edit this post.

Anyway it is a very high quality one and on the back has tapping drills infomation, pitch of threads etc etc - very handy.

I used to have one of those high quality fold out rules and it drove me mad - I have 150mm, 300mm 600mm and 1000mm steel rules now, the business

I like these Fisher rulers. Easy to read and as far as I can tell very accurate.
