Hi Claymore, my experience has been exactly the same with my SIP bandsaw that I have had for some years. My machine seems much the same as many other Chiwanese built saws and may not even be of the quality of your Axy one, but after buying and watching Steve's DVDs and fitting a tuffsaw blade, I'm sure mine is as accurate as anybody's . I didnt agree with some of the suggestions posted by (mainly) Americans on YouTube about adjusting fences to compensate for the drift of the cut from the blade. You wouldn't do that on a table saw so why should you put up with that on a bandsaw. My fence is now parallel to the slots and my blade is tracked to cut parallel to this. My bandsaw is now my "go to" saw for so much than it used to be, and is perfectly capable of fine work. Quieter too!
