RUTLANDS R15 Router Lift and Motor

The AUKTools router I have developed has the best quality components available that I can specify. I prototyped the NVR and remote speed control in the UK 8 years ago, introduced the ER20 collets and have most recently incorporated a higher rated bearing for longevity, and speed control graphics...

    Harrogate Show

The Verum blades are the same as Quangsheng T10 steel which is water quenched, very similar to old W1 or maybe W2. You are right its easy to sharpen, gets a very keen edge and holds a reasonable amount of time. The Melbourne Tool Company blades are specified to deal with the Australian...

    low angle smoother

@niall Y, as ever its a matter of personal preference but a Low Angle plane with different blade choices give you all the options you have mentioned above within one plane as explained in this video. The 12 degree bed with a 25 degree blade gives 37 degree effective pitch, great for end...

    low angle smoother

In my experience the majority of new woodworkers go with standard bench planes, usually because they have some experience of them but a Low Angle plane is far less complicated with fewer parts to set up and very versatile once the effective pitch is understood. About 30% of my students went with...

    VERUM'S LATEST TOOLS ARE HERE!

Yes I am very pleased with them, flat backs, fine lands and high angle side grinds, leaving plenty of steel in for strength but ground back to allow for dovetailing work.

    Inbcra i box

I Googled your narrow blade question and came back wit. Yes, the Incra iBox can be used with a cutter that is narrower than the joint width you want. The Ibox can be used with standard 3.2mm (1/8") saw blade for narrow fingers, so sounds like 3.2mm and upwards. Cheers Peter

Tannin marks after Oak glue up

Might sand out, if not use oxalic acid. Might be caused by recent iron work in the workshop, can come from some abrasives, dirty cloths or water. Make sure everything is clean. Cheers Peter
