I'm looking for a new monitor for my PC. Ideally min of 19", flat screen that I can use as a monitor for my laptop as well should the need arise. What can you recommend please. Don't want to go bananas on money - no more than £300 really.

Jason, Did you order them from Woodfit? If the code is UBI then the mechanism is incorporated into the slide. If its UB then its the older style with the mechanism under the drawer as JasonB points out. Cheers Tim

To be clear, self closing and soft close runners are not necessarily the same. Soft close runners are a type of self closer. However, a lot of standard drawer runners have a slight dip at the back end of the runner which means the roller or bearing shuts under gravity - most standard kitchen...

I do a lot of painted stuff and I do use Tulipwood for the doors etc. It does take paint well etc etc. BUT - I would suggest in this instance that for a fairly small project like this that it makes sense to make the doors out of MDF. You are right that getting a clean edge on MDF can be...

Mike It occurred to me last night that the reason I haven't done something like this on my ali top TS2500 is that the slots are not parallel to the blade and there is now way that I can find of altering that. Have you checked yours. There was a thread around a couple of months ago about this...

Even though we have beech worktops , I would not recommend them - they do require maintenance and water still gets in around sink edges etc eventually. We are (read - I am) redoing ours as well this year and I think that if we can find the wedge we'll put granite in. I don't have much...
