Thanks, it appears looking at their list there are 9 subtypes of BAS315, with different belts listed for some of them. I will look for another number on the machine to try and narrow it down.
I have just snapped the belt on my bandsaw. :(
I did think sometime ago I should buy a spare, but now I need one I have not been able to find one.
I think the belt is a 4JX62, any one know where I can buy one?

If you look here you will find a PDF manual, Axminster have a lot of manuals on line, often better than the printed one in the box with the machine.
I have seen this lathe and if I had the money you would not be getting the chance to buy it, lovely bit of kit. The inverter gives very smooth control of the speed and having the belt allows a very wide range to be selected.

A quick comment on the designs shown, if you are using these to just collect dust then they will work quite well, but if your planning on using them to separate shavings from a planer/thicknesser them you may well have a problem, take a look here where I had it, 5 years ago.
