Allen, I think I would like: A 1/4" spindle gouge A 3/8" or 1/2" straight scraper A 3/8" or 1/2" oval skew And do have you a 1/4" bowl gouge? As I am working on one of the smallest lathes around, small tools would be best but as already commented else where the is always the possibility...

That is a nice looking bowl and the stitching adds to it, I like that a lot. :D

George, I should be able to make the hexagon using my router lathe, I made a twelve sided blank for a box with it some years ago. I just index the blank round and slide the router along for each side. In fact I have a 1" thread box and tap set that I bought in the Tilgear late summer sale...

Baz, You need to get your picture on to a web server so it can be accessed by everyone. You may have web space from your ISP as part of your service or you can use somewhere like photo bucket. Then you put the link to you image into your profile, link at the top of the page to get to the profile.

I had the same problem when I needed to make some ebony dowels for an oak side table, the solution is to by turning blanks. :D Come in a range of sizes and while not the cheapest way of buying timber, they readily available with out breaking the bank. 8)

Those knobs are much better, well done. Did you buy them or make them in the end?
