Finished building Matthias Wandel's 16" bandsaw

Yes I was trying to look at them yesterday but the samples are such a low resolution that I couldn't tell! Thanks for the reply though! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

1000sq ft is massive for the hobby woodworker. Production shops could be smaller! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Poplar - Rubbish timber, what uses have you found for it ?

The poplar I've used has always had a slight green tinge to it. It's an excellent wood for trim pieces and face frames to be painted. Machines very well and takes finish brilliantly. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Faithfull Diamond sharpening Stone - Anyone used one?

As per my PM, I've given these stones a fair go most weekends over the last year. They cut as well as ever and are very flat. They're also very heavy, giving them a good premium feel in the hand. For under £40 you can't go wrong! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Hose / tubing for dust extracting

I bought that as well. The 5m lengths. Very heavy duty but still flexible enough to get around a tight corner. I actually need some more now so will be placing another order for the same soon! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Faithfull Diamond sharpening Stone - Anyone used one?

I have the Ultex stones from ITS. 300g, 600g and 1200g. I think I paid under £40 including delivery. I find them great to be honest. Finish with a strop and you get an extremely sharp edge. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

    Rutlands

Almost as good as my 900km daily commute. I particularly enjoy the 3 hour ferry ride each way from Dublin to Holyhead, gives me plenty of time to write 5 star reviews! ;) It's always amusing when someones dislike of a company means it must extend to everyone else. I've bought from Rutlands...

    Rutlands

I've bought a good few things off Rutlands and rated them 5 stars! I've dealt with Nathan as well. I bought their Wetstone sharpening system a while ago but the water bath was missing from the package. Nathan had it posted out to me the same day! I'd have no problem buying from them again...

Wiring up a 16Amp supply for the table saw

Or stick a 13amp socket on it and use it in a normal plug. It won't get the full kW power rating but it will work. But as has already been advised, throw a 16m breaker in the consumer box and run 2.5mm2 cable to a 16a hook up and off you go. Individual RCBOs are nice, but expensive! Sent...
