:lol: I did mine this afternoon , i think you have to take it slow near the end anyway as it tends to wobble and snap as i've had happen before . I had to support mine with my hand near the end as it was starting to wobble and bite .

I try not to work weekends also . But woodwork is my hobby as well as my trade . Im not one to sit around doing nothing so playing on the Legacy while the roast cooks is fun for me .

Well after years of getting chucked around in a transit van and me falling over with it drunk central heating has made the neck of my double bass come away from the body . The gap or crack is around 2mm but i have detuned it to stop it getting worse . I may have the terminology wrong here but i...

The extra length comes from remembering the timber is not ?mm anymore as you lose the moulding . Its caught me out a few times when ive been busy :oops: Its how ive perfected launching timber across the workshop without hitting the windows :lol:

Scribing ..... Just put you're M&T together and mark the moulding , cut out the shape and lose the rest where the joint is . In other words make your moulding as deep as your rebate and cut off the moulding where the joint is . ( dont forget to add the extra length to your top and bottom rail )
