    where can i buy an on/off switch for a Dewalt radial arm saw

    Hi dickm thanks for that, i will contact them tomorrow. The switch did not play up it was working as normal then just did not switch off. Tried wd40. Its riveted in 4 places, could drill them out and take a look, then glue it back together. Can use it by switching on/off at the plug.

    Hourly rate for a sole trader joiners. Multi skilled

    £18 per hour for me whatever i'm doing, complicated jobs or easy, maybe time to put my prices up from what i'm reading. On site i never price a job as i'm always out on time taken and materials used. If i'm in the workshop making furniture then yes i give a price as its simple to work out.

    Droogs i did notice it was used a mainly in model making. ED i was going to spray rather than paint, so needed some way to protect the hinges. Once the application problem is overcome then it looks like it will do the trick. Will get some and give it a go.

    Thanks chaps, Screw fix sell those spiky tools will get one tomorrow, can charge it to the customer. Yes the walls are painted with emulsion. Starting tomorrow, will see how it goes.

    I have a job to do this week stripping lining paper for a customer and then re decorate. Never stripped wall paper before so looking for any tips, shall be hiring a steam stripper. I told them their may be some nasties underneath, it may end up re plastering.

    Thanks chaps for the replies a lot to mull over. Actually the mould is on the ceiling where it meets the wall, would cold bridging on the wall still cause this ? The occupier is a tenant, i will ask her some questions regards the idea's put forward.
