Damp Problem - I'm not sure what to do...

if you could sketch a rough floor plan including the next door house ,it would give a better understanding of the layout and indicate any pipe casing. also a photo of the rear of the properties would be helpful to see what the lean to is butting into.

Damp Problem - I'm not sure what to do...

imo :D this is possibly a leak behind the corner pipe casing.could be a dosed joint seal if a first floor soil pipe is coming down that casing (if its a casing that is or is that a solid wall ?)or a hot /cold leak if pipes are running up. rising damp would not be 6ft up a wall .damp will only...

    Big gap under internal doors

Old thread i know and glad the client was happy with what OP did .A shadow joint can sort many things and much better finished look than trying to bluff in a straight add on piece. One wee thing though that comes to mind with what is obviously a new build. Most new houses now will have some form...

    Upside down doors

Correct ref the history side of things but as a framer myself,i,d rarely cut a mount with a larger bottom margin unless requested by the client or remounting an old item, like for like. the standard 8 ft ceiling height of most dwellings now doesn,t really require the looking up perspective of a...
