Artie 18kg is nowhere near a cwt ! 1cwt = 50.80kg 18kg = 39.68lbs and yes when a young fella almost everything came in hundredweight bags, coal, cement, grain, etc I could lift it no problem but now I have difficulty with 25kg [55lb] [1/2cwt] bags

Chris, drill sharpening is an acquired skill and you can learn it with practice ! What size range are you wanting to sharpen ? Small drills [say 1/4" down] are more difficult than large drills from 1/4" upwards and much larger are even easier. The Pro Edge is not IMO the best tool for drill...

Why not just make a new screw ? It shouldn't be particularly difficult -- I just made a replacement spindle lock for a 0" - 0.5" M & W micrometer. Even if you cannot match the thread just make a new nut as well but the thread will almost certainly be a standard USA thread.

I use Shellac filler sticks available in various colours and you apply with a heated knife/spatula - canny remember where I got mine from but Liberon supply them and probably others if you search around.
