    Humerous posts

This sounds fantastic! But is it ok to put the chilli sauce on before the cream cheese? As for what I put on my toast - usually more toast. Can't afford too many luxuries, butter is for bank holiday weekends and jam is reserved for Christmas ...

Was that scone or scone? Because one way you are saying it completely wrong... (It's definitely scone) Also I always stir my coffee clockwise - is this why I can't cut neat dovetails?

    Shop Vac advice sought

I have a titan wet and dry vac as my shop/site vac. The cheaper paper bags were useless (tore sucking up bits of brick and mortar) so I started using the fabric bags (very good but ££££!) I have recently done away with filling bags up though - I 'borrowed' a festool extractor bag from a...

Orbital sanders that discs stick to!

I have a makita which is in use on a nearly daily basis and the only discs that it throws are the cheapies that I bought in bulk from amazon. The abrasives that I use most are SIA and have never fallen off!

Cutting melamine to shape without chips

If you are unable to use a tracksaw then I would suggest a jigsaw with a down cutting blade. This gives a nice clean cut on the top edge. Bosch make a good one, I believe it is the 101BR. Hope this helps

    Kitchen update

What are you planning on using to make the frames from? For example if using 12mm mrmdf, cut a strip and hold in place next to the hinge side of a door (flush with existing carcass) open the door and see if it clears the mdf. If it does, great. If not then you need to change the hinges/use...

    Kitchen update

Do you mean adding face frames to the doors or carcasses? Doors are easy, but adding to carcass may require changing the door hinges to throw the doors out further so they will clear the new frame. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

    Dust extractor flow in pipes

I have some steel ducting that I will be installing to my workshop - what is the easiest way of earthing it? I kind of assume that I need to attach a cable to a metal strap around the duct and run outside to a metal spike driven into the ground? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

    Computer geeks, queue here

It won't do this. As soon as you connect an external drive (either your hard drive or a USB stick) windows will ask you what you want to happen Select open folder to view files, search for whatever files, music, photos or videos, then copy into your chosen destination folder on your new...

Adding a table saw to my track saw setup; DeWalt?

Apparently the dewalt is a little noisy due to the brushed motor, but all the small site saws are brushed.... Other than that I think the dewalt is generally well regarded as a good circular saw. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

    Aldi emulsion paint?

It's for your workshop. Just use it. I used Aldi's magnolia on the plasterboard in my workshop - turned out to be magnolia paint... Yes it needed a couple of coats, but so would anything. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
