I reckon the domino must be the favoured method these days amongst small makers. I pretty much domino and carcase screw all my cabinets together unless its a fine furniture commission where i will use more traditional joints as per ellis. cheers jon

You can get pretty much any colour you want mixed either by a ral or bs number or a colour chip book. They mix quite a lot of the pigmented colours for me by the farrow and ball colour swatch. You can get it in either the waterborne or solvent versions and to pretty much any sheen level 10%matt...

You could make a false bed for your thicknesser at the angle of chamfer you need and feed the 3/4 stock through guides on the false bed to do the cut. cheers jon
