I have a spare Fein multimaster plastic case if anyone out there has a Multimaster that needs one.

Its used but in very good nick as I transfered my Multimaster into a systainer pretty soon after I bought it. It has all the boxes and linings that it came with and none of these are damaged. If I get time I can post pics. Looking for £20 plus postage Pm me if your interested cheers.

Used my Multimaster today to cut out some squares of T&G floorboard for access to make some plumbing joints.

It really is a great tool that does stuff not easily done any other way. The half circle saw blade cut through the 3/4 in pine in no no time, doing the corners with the 'chisel' saw blade means you can cut right into a corner. If you place the cross grain cuts at both ends of the opening over joists (just inside the line of nails), and the lengthwise cuts through tongues at the sides of boards the result is a perfectly fitting and very discreet lift out panel.

One thing i seem to find is that unlike most saws it has very little self feeding effect, and has little side clearance in a cut (there's lots of drag) - so it needs a reasonable 'shove' to keep it moving. Until you do this you could get the impression it doesn't cut very well. Two passes were enough to get through the boards. If you don't keep it moving it starts to heat up the blade and scorch the wood.....
