The problem is the part of the plug it cable that is in the tool wears very quickly resulting in both the lead and the internal socket often getting damaged. I put 4 new parts into my festool ets sander before getting fed up with shelling out and hardwiring a lead. The design is very weak IMO...

I suppose your using concealed tandem runners. If you use 16mm drawer sides the width of the drawer is 10mm less than the internal width of the carcase and the length 10mm less than the nominal length of the runner. You can use thicker sides and rebate them to 16mm but the drawer is still 10mm...

The technicians been Bob and checked everything over and the motors and belts run fine. Theres a fault with a microswitch and a solenoid in the pnuematics which hes gonna sort in the next couple of weeks cant wait to get it running. cheers Jon

I think you will need to use 1.5mm thick ply to get around the corners easily then you will have to do it in probably 4 sections with a split half way across the top/bottom and either side because the sheets are only 1525mm square i think. The other option would be to make the 4 corners...

The Corian glue is only really suitable for corian to corian joints it will not adhere to timber very well. You could glue some blocks with inserts in onto the corian and then bolt the corian down if the design allows. cheers jon
