Warning to all wardrobe mistresses out there...

Always worth looking at the address it came from. I'd expect it to be @paypal.com if it was genuine rather than anything.paypal etc or accounts-PayPal etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Very, very, very annoyed. 2 things.

My key fob stopped working. I bought a new case and a new rechargeable battery. The battery was soldered on but it was easy to take it off and replace. Put it all in the new case. Case was £5 from eBay. Battery £3 from RS components. Compared to £300 odd quid for a new key. Sent from my...

Tracksaw kaput - recommend a new one please

I have a Triton router and think it's excellent. I do however have the Festool track saw and can't fault it. I also found that there wasn't a huge difference in cost between Bosch, Makita and Festool so I opted for the Festool based on reviews etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Phone upgrade time...suggestions please?

The iPhone is perfect for business! I changed our entire company to iPhone. Reduced support calls to almost zero. However it does depend on your requirements. I liked the vpn connectivity, the Microsoft office suite works well and email is straightforward and links perfectly. No issues with...

    TRA001 table problems

I bought the table etc and also found the same thing. I can't remember what measurements I used but I do remember it being a bit of a faff. I actually spoke to Triton about it and they said they couldn't provide a hole for every router on the market. Personally I thought that was rubbish as...

    Triton Router Guide Bush options

I'm just fussy and want to make my own design top. I think I'll just design it and get it CNC'd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New tools for workshop

You'd want them to be very stable and I'm not sure how they would be if they were on a slide. It would be good if they could be made solid. My bench depth was selected mainly due to wanting to fit the table saw under it. The only thing I'm a bit peeved about is that I measure to the top of...

Ash timber for a bed build ?

The slats in our bed are about 8" - 10" wide with about a 2" gap between the boards. A decent mattress is essential with any bed. You spend 1/3 of your life in bed so best to spend out on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Triton Router Guide Bush options

It will need to be very accurate as I want to use a MFT template to make an MFT style top and obviously this needs to be accurate to ensure that I get square cuts when using with the track saw. Thanks for the offer of a loan, I think I need to have my own so that I can make new tops as...

Your latest purchase hidden from SWMBO

In our house I tend to be the one who spends the money. I don't generally discuss small purchases with Swmbo but anything serious I would. We buy stuff for the house together (like a new dishwasher recently). I don't hide anything from her. She will spend money on the kids but very little on...

    New tools for workshop

I would agree about putting stuff on wheels. I have a work bench that has the following on it: Wet stone / grinder Disc / belt sander Bobbin sander Planer thicknesser CSMS Pillar Drill Bandsaw The bench is quite deep so I can pull forward the machine I want to use and leave the rest pushed...

    Cyclone Vacuum - Why?

I have a dust mite cyclone on top of a 40 litre bin and connected to £50 worth of Karcher wet and dry vac and it's excellent. I get nothing through to the vac and the bin is easy to empty. Might be worth getting a clear bin, if you can, so you can see when it's full. Sent from my iPhone...

    Triton Router Guide Bush options

I have a Triton TRA001 Router. It's really meant to be spending it's life in the table as I'm aiming to get an Of1400 for other uses, however that hasn't happened yet and I need a 30mm guide bush for the Triton. I had a look at Triton and it seems I have to buy a kit that includes a base and the...

    New tools for workshop

CSMS - Yes Compound Sliding Mitre Saw. It is interesting how different people offer different advice. You could take away my planer thicknesser but not my CSMS. I don't use my table saw much because of space. Although I have it on castors it's still a pain to manoeuvre into space to use. I...
