    Random Orbital Sander

Abranet do, do interface pads so that might be an option. I did buy one but then bought the Rotex. I've got a Bosch for sale with the Abranet interface pad if you want it! :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Nuisance telephone calls

Umm 0203 xxxxxxxx is a London number? Used to be 0207 and 0208 but they ran out and added 0203 Not that it makes any difference to the issue. Register with the telephone preference service and you'll see a big drop in calls after about a month.

    Random Orbital Sander

I did! My Bosch sent Abranet discs flying. I've just bought a Rotex so hopefully that won't have that issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Which wood should I buy

I'm quite liking Red Cedar and Oak options at the moment. Fitzroy - I very much like your table. Mine would be quite as heavy duty and I want some panels to be removable as I want to have troughs under the table to fill with ice and bottles. I'm even thinking of getting clear tubs for the...

    Microsoft Windows 10 Pop Up

As an IT professional I would say that Windows 10 falls into the classic Microsoft "ever other OS is good" scenario. XP - Good, Vista - oh dear, Windows 7 - Good, Windows 8 - "What start button?" Windows 10 - Good. Why not upgrade now as its free. It won't be long before you try and run a new...

    Which wood should I buy

I did see the Wood Whisperer video and I think he used Red Cedar. Thanks for all the info - especially with an idea on costs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Which wood should I buy

I'd just assumed oak would be very expensive. Thanks for the options so far. Sepele would be interesting as I quite like the look of it. All ideas welcome. Thanks guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fed up with the hyperbole of the referendum?

I made my decision a couple of weeks ago and in the end it came down to democracy. In the UK we can vote to get rid of our government every few years. We have no such vote in Europe and as a country the European laws are forced upon us. Immigration is a perfect example. I'm not against...

    Which wood should I buy

I'm looking to make an outdoor table. I know teak is the traditional wood and iroko is also favoured but I wondered what other woods are OK to use outside? I'm happy to apply a couple of coats of oil etc to protect it. I'm ideally after a hardwood that isn't going to cripple me financially...

What tool did you buy today?

Not tried mine yet. Hopefully it will be good. Recently my wife had to hold the hose from the dyson onto a Festool hose while I did some work in the house! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Table saw stand

Thanks - I might have to look at that. I'm tempted to replace the whole fence and rail. Anyone got any suggestions for a good replacement? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Beware.

No idea if it's true but she says she does it. I think it's a sign of where teaching is wrong. If need to know how many litres are in a gallon then I use the Internet. The same is true for lots of things. Information is readily available these days and as such our teaching should accept that...

What tool did you buy today?

I made use of my Festool voucher and bought a CTL Midi extractor that came with a free cleaning kit in a systainer and I bought a Rotex 125. I also bought the systainer with the inserts for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What to buy?

Thanks for the input. I ended up going for the Rotex 125. I was tempted by the 150 but as well as the difference in cost it also felt a bit too big in my hands. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do at work today?

I'd be ok with that I don't mind heights. It's the guys who work on live power lines that amaze me. Oh and I know some who welds live gas mains! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
