To be perfectly honest, I dodn;t do anything to it other than fit it and use it. I looked it over, and it was greased, but I figured that was intentional to stop it from wearing. I'll drop it down and give it a going over. Thanks all

Hi Bearing in mind that the cupboard will be in my living room (and therefore hopefully not getting wet), is there any issue with using iron knobs for the door? I understand oak can react to the iron, but is this likely indoors? I'm intending to wax the wood, with no other finish. Thanks!
