I used a re-toother to re-cut all the new teeth in which saved a lot of time but all the setting and sharpening was done by hand/eye. No hand or tenon saws for me for at least 2 weeks :D

Would have done them a bit faster but had to stop for a cup of tea or two :wink:

If the blade is rubbish then your just wasting your time trying to get the machine set up properly as no matter what you do the blade will just wander all over the place. It's surprising how much difference a decent blade can make on any machine. With bandsaws it can be really frustrating...

I haven't tried a micro bevel (yet!), but usually grind the angle to 35 degrees for hardwood. Ian

Have you tried having the blades ground to a lesser angle? It can make a difference having the angle of the blades ground and you should have a different angle on planer blades for hardwood. Ian
