I have several wall mounted isolating switches and fused spurs that will need "a little window" into the back of the wall cupboards. I was planning on cutting through the back panel and then framing the hole .
Hopefully this makes sense! Or is there a better way?
The kitchen arrives on Monday and I am going to install it myself.
An expert is coming to mitre the worktops but otherwise just me.
Any tips from the professionals on here ?
I have a couple of clones, they were both overpainted and unusable “out of box”, but very easy to fettle into a good tool.
Only use these for primary, hand held for secondary.
I have one on order so would also be interested.
I think I get the insulation point but the long lasting issue is a concern .
I would want to minimise this during installation.
The big ones need a lot of respect. Ask any A&E doctor.
Get a small one but bear in mind that they can also bite.
Get the cheapest one from screwfix and put the box and receipt in a safe place for possible return in the next 3 years.
