    0.1 is perhaps with tolerance. It might be helpful to unbolt the table to see if the error is in the table or is caused while being assembled. You might then be able to figure out a way of rectifying it.

    MikeG Thanks for describing the way you use winding sticks - it never occured to me to line up with the bottom of the far stick. I will make some and use with confidence.

    I think MikeG's post has set things right. Sunnybob's originally said 30 staves and 12 degrees, then changed it to 15 staves. Brentingby's original screenshot was an ellipse which has since been edited - it was based on 30 staves and 12 degrees and the 170 diameter was applied over the corners...
