    Yes.... loosing 80% of the landscape ....I have a choice of logs so usually go for the tight grain in middle ....around 5” diameter...bloody hard work moving logs around...lol.... Ps yes hats are separate..... and everyone is different /original

    Plenty of ash around at the moment.....I use it...trees being felled in the cemetery where I volunteer on the landscaping. I turn up ash figures and sell in the shop for source of income for the cemetery. Ps... the smaller ones are elm and cedar

    It could be very old ash.....but not sure it’s olive ash....I must admit it looks like cherry but the bark is wrong.

    Hi there Craig....I have my lathe setup in my garage...I’ve been through the dust thing and ended up building a cyclone dust bin....this uses a tough plastic bin and a cyclone affair ...available on Amazon..you then find any small hoover....mine is a Tesco £40 job...connect up the tubes and...

    Hi there... I have a ELU 3401... made n Italy. A very nice sturdy machine...twin speed large throat.... got it on eBay....£150 with 6 spare assorted blades... rips through logs no prob...the old nes are sometimes the best....

    Hi monster.... ex Bournemouth man here...if you have lots of sawdust...you can mix it in with garden compost or dig it straight into the garden to give soil some nourishment...you should be able to offer it to anyone with a garden... I lived in southbourne
