Hi I'm not sure to be honest. Would they be clean on the inside if thats what they were used for? I know they are used for allsorts from food to poisonous chemicals. Mark

Is this NVR switch powerful enough?

Thanks for that In that case anyone know where I can get a "stripped down" switch like this that is rated high enough? The other ones on the axi site are packed into a plastic box that are too big for where I want to slot this. Thanks Mark

Is this NVR switch powerful enough?

This axminster switch: http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-ax ... rod824645/ Is it rated high enough for a 2000w router? Specifically the big Triton. The others on the Axi website are a bit big physically as to where I want to put them on the router table (should have planned ahead - doh)...

    Calling Lamello C2 owners

Jason I only have the 2 smaller adapters shown at the front of your photo. Looks like I need to get the adapter you already have connected to the back of your machine, which i think is the 36mm suction hose adaptor you link to. I think I might make a few phone calls next week to see if I can...

    Calling Lamello C2 owners

No, mine has no bag :( The port does, from memory, look like that Festool router port though not sure of size. Have not looked at the cost of Festool hose but can't imagine that will be cheap either  Clearly this is going to be no simple/cheap fix. Surprised I've not read this in any...

    Calling Lamello C2 owners

Thanks for the replies I have the suction stub, but the extractor side of it is oval not round. I don't have the right size hose so have not tried it. Do I just force the round extractor hose over it, cause that look like a recipe for it to break? Or do I then need something else to connect...

How do you attach an extractor hose to the rectangular extraction port (or the oval one for that matter) ? I see you can buy an expensive hose kit. Is there a cheaper / better way . Cheers Mark

My second electrical question this week

Pond I have described the use of the extension, so what do you recommend? I am quite capable of wiring it if some one tells me what to use (which i thought they already had?) Mark

My second electrical question this week

Blimey, didn't realise it could be this complicated. Might give the double socket a rethink and plug the vacuum in elsewhere. Just out of interest, how do those 6 and 8 way extension sockets work then, or don't they if anything power hungry is plugged in? Mark

My second electrical question this week

Both answers help a lot. Moral - don't always trust google The extension is 95% of the time going to run a 2000w router in the table, so would 1.5mm flex be OK for that? I have now had another thought, would I be able to put a double socket on the end and use the router and a vacuum off it at...

My second electrical question this week

Sorting out all things electrical is my aim this week. I want to make my own plug in extention lead as I want to make it a specific length, and just fancy doing it. I have the plug and the socket for the other end, my Q is about the cable. I assume I need twin core and earth, but what size...

    Power tool cables

Hi Hopefully someone with a bit of electrical savvy will read this. The cables on my "expensive" hand power tools are fairly soft rubber. The cables on my "cheaper" hand power tools seem more plastic like, have a bit of a memory (ie the folds remain when uncoiled) and generally won't lay out...

Chippy I have no idea about these connectors at all having never used air tools. What are UNI and PCL fittings? Mark

    Compressor air line

Can someone tell me if this is the right connector to join the 1/4 inch BSP of the airline to the 1/4 inch bayonet of the nail gun? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PCL-1-4-FEMALE-TH ... 45f4020fc9 Mark

    Compressor air line

Hi So I've established the fitting on the Bambi is 1/4 inch BSP female. I think I've found some decent and cheap airline on ebay. It comes with 1/4 inch BSP male connectors on both ends. From what I can see a BSP connector is just a screw thread???? so do I just screw the line straight into...

    Compressor air line

Hi I'm going to pick up a second hand bambi BB15v compressor next week. Like this http://www.bambi-air.co.uk/docs/Budget-Range.pdf Looking at the Bambi website I can't find what the connector is. The nail gun I've bought has a 1/4 inch bayonet BSP fitting??? I afraid I don't have experience...

    Bought some green oak

That was me that suggested HoneySuckleBottom. Glad you are happy with their service. I've always found them accomodating, reasonably priced and helpful. I had some 8x8 oak posts from them. They had just had their delivery truck nicked so delivered them on a hired lorry. Luckily it was a...
