All we have here is a low quality China bazar, they have Superglue cheap, it's about medium I'm guessing, seems to work well.

Great advice Fester, i'll take it all on board, especially the thinner CA tip..... where i live it's not easy to buy 'specialist' items like that though, we have to make do with the basic things we have available....... cheers

I've done a few CA glazes but when i use the spray it always reacts and makes a white patch !

Thanks Doug, resin is still pretty expensive, i had a little knocking about, it's fun though so i'll be getting some more.... the only downside is the stringy waste it creates

Hi Greg, i layered it horizontally, a bit of a pain as the Post-it glue makes them curl up, i'm currently trying one vertically... They remind me of when folk turn layers of auto paint.

Finial made from Post-it notes soaked in resin, glazed with Superglue..... Might make some wine bottle stoppers, cupboard handles.....

I've used Sharpies, they seem pretty light-fast, especially when covered by a layer of CA, if you use sanding sealer it shouldn't bleed.

It happens to me more than usual because i don't really have access to dry store bought blanks, most of my wood comes to us as firewood and you never know what surprises are contained within... in this case the area where i put the motice had a patch of punky rot, this combined with only having...

Fill the crack with spent coffee grounds and drip in Superglue for a natural finish...

I melt it in an old saucepan on a camping stove..... and i'm anti dent, fair measures all the way :)
