Just a quick comment on the rails, if you think you are gooing to cut a LOT of sheet materials up, then I really do approve of the following combos - 1 x 3m ; 1 x 1.4m + 600mm ; 1.4m on its own and finally 1 x 600mm Ok you don't need this ALL at ONE GO, and can be gotten over a period of time...

never use water based finish on top of WB stains - they will leach out into the finish, same goes for oil / naptha based stains and oil / white spirit finishes. If you are intent on using a WB on WB / OB on OB then I advise you to use SHELLAC as a barrier finish, give this a light knocj back...
