Bar top lacquer is still available in the UK, Fiddes and also the Tottenham mob have,[ forgotten the name ] plus you can bring it up to a super gloss finish with a drop or too of pull over. hth K

nah your not , i scrimped and saved overf the last 6 months for a chop saw - finally got a new Fessie Kapex. Okay for general chopsaw work. Then I had a comission where I had a few [ loads really] of double mitre joints to do. Low and behold, it cut pissed - 1deg out. Took it to Fessie .nl...

too bloody right, I was really pissed off yesterday, got the kapex 120 a month ago and was just starting a new project, where the joints had to be spot on. :cry: Imagine my surprise, when I taped the joints up tight, flipped it over and started to fold the bits in on each other. :evil: :evil...

many a flight with a walkman IN my ear defenders, bloody webbing was always chaffing bits of me where it shouldn't. but all in all still bleeding great aircraft. Wish I could have jumped out one when it was offerd, but our CSM qaushed that bit of fun :( K
