    Wood stabilising

Does anybody do wood stabilising (pressure injecting with resin). I have a few nice looking bog Oak pen blanks but they have splits in them. I don't have a pressure pot and setup so if anybody is interested in doing them either for some cash or to keep some as a trade, let me know.

    Attaching Domino to tracksaw rail

This flashed up on my Facebook news feed and it looks like a useful idea. Festool Domino Rail Connector Connect your DF 500 to Guide | Etsy probably very expensive by the time it gets over here. how does everybody else achieve this, clamp a batten to the piece to be domino'd?

MFT insert / blanks to fill holes

No, I meant straight over the top of the surface actually. It would be easy to remove and shouldn't stop things sliding. I think I would rather have antislip pads myself but I can see the advantages of both.

Drilling a hole through a screwdriver bit

Drilling a hole through a screwdriver bit

anneal and re-heat treat afterwards. it wont take much to do, a plumbers torch will easily do it.

    Wood glue

It works, it'll be fine! Don't let it freeze though because that will cause you issues as it will with all PVA glues (although some claim to be able to stand a freeze thaw cycle or two, I wouldn't risk it). There are lots of brands out there. Yours probably only didn't get a mention because...

    Cut off/scrap fever

Getting ridiculous now! Surely there has to be some threshold where a piece is too small to use? In my spare time I like to turn matchsticks for my daughters doll house, but anything too small for that goes to make pin heads for the local seamstress mouse...

    Wood identification please

Well don't jump to conclusions. It is fungal and if left too long will become too soft to use (also known as being a bit "punky"). Catch it before that point and you can use it. If it is borderline, then you can look at wood hardeners. I am not a huge fan of spalted wood in general but I have...

    Light Handled Crown Chisels?

I doubt it is worthwhile faking them. I don't think that there are even fake Lie Nielsen chisels out there. May well have switched to another handle material though.
