    I've used HMG paints and their MDF primer is very good, iI only stopped using it because it was getting expensive compared to others.

    That looks exactly like mine, if you can try and incorporate some form of extraction to cut down on dust from the top, I keep meaning to do that on mine as yet still not done it.

    Are you sure about your numbers? I thought 1bar was something like 760mm of Mercury so 26" would be quite good, and surely a vacuum is minus one bar?

    There's many grades of birch ply, B/BB mean that small defects are allowed if patched, so if you're buying b/BB or bb/BB ply then that's what you've got.
