As far as I knew, Kale was grown as animal feed. I have a memory of when a French exchange student, in England, was served with corn on the cob, asked; "Excusez Moi, we feed this to ze chickens in France!"

Is the Metabo HC260 any good? Currently dimensioning with bandsaw and handplanes.

I've come across that problem with those pesky grubs. I tend to take a softly-softly approach to them with a hex. screwdriver, while keeping down pressure on the blade with a piece of wood, most of the time I get it right. Festool Plug-It connector confusion

I did a similar conversion on some of my tools using Hylec m/f plug-in connectors as close as poss to tool. I've not had any problem with 'snagging', with extractor hoses - yes! Not having a cable wrapped around it makes for much easier storage. I got my connectors from CPC, but now Screwfix...

    UK power sockets outside UK

French Insurance Cos. tell me about them! I had a 'run in' with one after being hit on the LHF wheel of my camper van whilst stationary at a road junction. Just knocked my tracking out & chipped the paint on the wheel arch - the Talbot Samba, the 'doer of the deed', was the best part of a...

Means nowt to I myself; still got my old Motorola Razor, which is only switched on when certain sites require confirmation. Saying that, about a month ago my landline issued forth a 'creepy' and weird alarm sound without any explanation. Maybe a prank???:dunno:
