    I use old Steradent tubes in a block of wood, the blades tube that I'm using goes in the hole with arrows on the corner.

    The Makita thicknesser comes with an extraction hood, can't remember the size of the hole though cos I've never used it. I don't have the room to use it in the shed so I take it outside and sweep up after I've finished.

    scrolling 2 - 3 mm acrylic sheet

    The last time I cut acrylic I used normal blades No.1 I think. Remember to keep the protective plastic on or cover with clear packing tape, it will help stop the melting back problem. happy scrolling Steve

    I love my Delta but feel it is showing signs of wear. I definitely couldn't stand a pound coin on the table with it running. I wish I could easily source spares to give it an in depth service because I really do love it. What parts are you looking for? happy scrolling Steve

    Advice Needed - Batch Cutting 4mm Brass Rod

    Why not bundle longer lengths together say 4 or 6 or 8 and tape them together and cut them. It would be a lot quicker.

    Bearing guides knackered on Charnwood BS350 14" bandsaw

    The bearings will have a number on them, just do a google search there will be several suppliers. On my Charnwood W730 they are 627zz which I got from Simply Bearings. Dead easy to change.
