Hi Dave. Can I suggest that you buy the standard blades (25 degrees?) and put on your desired 38 or 50 degree bevel as a mirco-bevel. That makes it much easier to experiment with different bevels to suit differring timbers. I.e. it's much easier to reduce the cutting angle by 5 degrees on a 25...
