    Time to think about finishing my workshop.

    From a security point of view the walls are more important than the doors. What about painted sheathing ply on walls battens to cover joints this could be covered at a later date with a better looking cladding if required.

    Oak english and american ash ,sapele ,idigbo,small amount of teak,some yellow pine and redwood .The story is there ends of boards except the long lengths but the joinery firm need the space to expand so it all had to go and of course they unloaded it for me onto the driveway.

    I have also used thick work top for a router table but i lipped all cut ends and the side and also sealed the hole cut for the plate so quite a process really but we all know what happens when chipboard gets damp .Would i do it again no.

    joining plastic -lead

    Usual practice is to replace lead with plastic however you may be able to use a plastic straight compression coupling or get some heat shrink tube to make the connection.

    I use toolstation very fine maroon finishing pad cut to fit my random orbit finishing sander the velcro gripped it and gave good finish with no effort.

    Flushing central heating radiators.

    Hose in outlet with open inlet when i did it to a partial blocked rad it failed one month later and had to be replaced the muck must have sealed it.

    Keeping a shed cool

    As the air in the shed is gaining temp. you need to ventilate it with high level vents in the end walls or extractor at high level and you need a way to replace this air so door open or grill in bottom of door a fan will also make it feel cooler but this can also circulate dust .the insulation...

    Dust extractor

    It needs to expel air ,dust and air are drawn in and the air passes through the fabric bag. Enclose it and vent to out side.
