    hi, any advice on a band saw under £500?

    I have the record and am happy with it, being on casters is very useful in a small shop. I replaced the blade with a dragon saws one.

    From the above it looks like the signal strength is low why not try a ariel booster then go through the tune to nothing and then to boosted signal. I have one fitted on my system.

    Do i understand correctly that i can put pre-catalysed or Acid Catalyst lacquer or even polyurethane (easy to obtain)on top of say three light coats of danish oil.

    It sounds fine the thing with the key ring is to release pressure for maintenance no air should escape normally use soap solution to find leaks.

    My suggestion is to have the under side of the steel spray foamed say £280 any other methods would require removal of the sheets i can come up with a method (labour intensive) if you were ok to do this.
