    Make sure you can get abrasive loads at a fair price i had to get mine from USA for the Delta when the pound was up. The side mounted belt sander :- i have a aldi one fixed to a wood frame that is held in the vice it works well at low cost.

    TS Blades

    When you buy a CMT blade there is a diagram on the box showing the various angles the teeth have to be done at its complex, so i take them to the hire shop for a 7 day turn around . If that time scale is no good have two blades then there is always a sharp one to hand.

    Tablesaw outfeed area

    I have the sip table saw and have it on wheels with a out feed sheet/table hinged and cut to clear the floor when down. I just position the saw fold up the table and put a roller stand under it works fine for me just a little difficult to arrange the fixing of the hinge but it only done once.

    I agree with waterhead37 sliding tables and outfeed space eat up work space. Do you have double doors and a level hardstand in front, with the saw on castors sheets could be cut outside,but slide table takes up space when parked. Or no sliding table, cut sheets up with circular saw and finalise...

    honest critic required

    I used to turn years ago and found it very difficult, getting a good finish especially on end grain and producing a good cut that required minimal sanding and crisp profiles was especially so. If you are doing this you are turning well.

    Workshop floor

    Having recently extended my workshop i used visqueen dpc under the slab and t&g chipboard floor glued tenons over it, after it was dry .Its fine m/cs move easily and it is easy to clean it can be sealed or painted if required.
