I knocked these up from 3 different types of oak, Pippy oak for the frames Brown oak for the tops and Bog oak for the disc and triangle connecting piece in the top stretcher.
They are joined with dominoes, they trickiest piece was the bottom stretcher it slopes up wards with a flat on that the Bog oak disk sits on, I made it from a wider piece so the ends could be cut at 90 degrees. Then cut a wedge shaped piece from the bottom to get the angle, and cut the top parallel to the base leaving a flat that goes under the disk.
Top connector.
Disk glued and screwed on.
3 tops.
Frame without a top.
Low angle view.
Thanks goes to Steve Maskery for lending me his Domino, it made the assembly much easer, I even cut the slot in the top stretchers with it.
