I am putting together a table of timber yards, with information from members who have actually visited the yards. Can you please help with information about Eynsham Sawmills? You can see the timber yards that are already included in the timber yard link below.

Are they hobby friendly?

Can you self-select or is it by appointment?

Will they deliver?

Do they have online ordering?

Are prices displayed at the yard?

Do they sell domestic hardwoods?

Do they sell other hardwoods?

Do they sell manufactured boards?

Do they sell turning blanks?

Are they a one-man-band or a small, medium or large yard?

Will they cut to length to fit in your vehicle?

Eynsham Sawmills is where I get almost all of my hardwood. They have a kiln and a shed at the back where they keep it all racked. They have lots of oak, sycamore, walnut, cherry, cedar, beech etc etc - all home grown. You can spend as long as you like in there with a tape, small plane and moisture meter to look at and get exactly the boards you need
Very hobby friendly
Easy to self-select
They can deliver

Prices displayed per cubic foot for each timber within the shed

Softwood and green oak

Neil, dont know if you already have this one, but I have just been told about Swansea Timber and plywood, oxford street swansea, and they get a glowing report from my welsh friend.
