I passed my Apprenticeship assesment test, and am suitable to do an apprenticeship.
Just Finished writing my C.V and covering letter with any luck i may have an apprenticship.

TBH half way through the test i fought i had failed it and was well peed off :lol: was in a strop. :lol:

Congratulations Carl - that's a very good result!!!

Stay positive as you now look to secure an apprenticeship - remember everyone else who's passed the assessment appears to be as good as you to any possible employer.

So you need to convince that employer that you are the man for them. And a good open positive manner is just the thing.

That's dead easy to say, and v v difficult to get right!

Not aggressive! Remember they're going to kind of assume that you have the basic skills/abilities that's needed (you wouldn't have passed the assessment otherwise!!), so they're going to be looking for someone who can fit in with their existing staff/organisation.

Now to prepare for the next stage - the interview. First rule - try not to worry. Second rule - try not to worry!

Seriously, see if you can find someone to coach you through the type of questions that they may ask you. Questions like 'why do you want to work for us'? 'Why do you like woodworking'? That way you'll be well prepared for the interview.
