I've got amazing yankee 1445 and it requires a bit of restoration. I wonder if anyone did that before or knows how that was assembled.
Mainly parts are easy to disassemble and mechanics is genius but I've stumbled upon shaft. There is ball bearing that needs cleaning and I can get to it. I removed a pair of pegs from the threaded area under chuck and now I guess threaded part should separate from the shaft but it doesn't want to. It might be cone holding parts together then I will unlikely separate them. But then pegs would be unnecessary. I made several strokes with hammer but can only see slight step inside peg holes (and I'm not sure if it is step between parts).

Same for body/frame part, not necessary to disassemble, but would be just great to know how it was done.

Here is the patent link for 2-speed clutch for those who are curious: http://www.datamp.org/patents/displayPa ... p?id=41860
